Swim lesson vouchers still available | Families
If you're looking for a way to keep the kids cool and entertained this summer, the City of Spokane still has swim lesson vouchers available for those who need them.
The City of Spokane Parks & Recreation Department has partnered with Make A Splash to provide free swim lessons at all six of the city's aquatic centers. There are about 62 waivers still available.
If families qualify for free or reduced lunch at Spokane Public Schools, their annual income also qualifies them for swim vouchers. To apply for a voucher families must fill out an application, found HERE, and have proof of income. Applications can also be picked up at the My Spokane dest on the first floor of City Hall.
Once families are approved, a My Spokane representative will help them register for classes. Swim lesson vouchers only cover the cost of swim lessons and does not cover the regular pool admission fee of $2. For more information on Spokane City Aquatics click HERE.
