Scammers target South Hill neighborhood

Spokane Police are warning a South Hill neighborhood about scammers that have been targeting the area.  They have received several complaints of men pretending to security company workers.

The incidents have occurred in the area of 4200 S. Apollo St. between Freya and Regal. Two white males knock on doors claiming to be from the homeowner’s security company . The suspects try to look at the alarm panel while asking questions about the alarm and security system.

The suspects went to several homes in the area and sometimes said they were selling insurance. Residents who were contacted by these individuals are asked to call Crime Check at (509) 456-2233 to file a report.
